Healthy Crispy Parmesan Air Fryer Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs chicken breast butterflied
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- ½ tsp pepper divided
- ½ tsp onion powder divided
- ½ cup kodiak cakes flapjack mix
- ¾ tsp paprika divided
- ½ tsp salt divided
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer into 390°F and spray skillet with olive oil spray.
- Trim chicken breast of surplus fat. Make sure you butterfly chicken breasts or pound to no thicker than 1/4 inch. This can be a significant thing to ensure that the chicken cooks completely.
- Measure out breadcrumbs and Kodiak cake blend into two different bowls. Season breadcrumbs and Kodiak cake mix evenly with spices.
- Add parmesan cheese into the breadcrumb bowl. Then place egg third bowl and then scramble using a fork. Line the bowls up in order of Kodiak Cakes combination, egg, breadcrumbs.
- Dredge chicken in flour then dip and coating in to eggs. Coat with breadcrumb mixture on either side.
- Place chicken in air fryer and cook 390°F for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for 2-4 minutes depending on thickness of chicken. Cook till done.
