Baked Garlic Butter Salmon

  • 1 large salmon fillet (3 lbs)
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp chopped thyme leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • kosher-salt
  • freshly ground black-pepper


  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil & grease with cooking-spray. To the middle of the foil, then place lemon-slices in an even-layer.
  • Season each side of the salmon with salt & pepper and place on top of lemon-slices.
  • In a small-bowl whisk together honey, butter, garlic, thyme, and oregano. Pour over salmon subsequently fold foil up round the salmon. Bake until the salmon is cooked through, about 25minutes. Alter the oven to broil, and simmer for 2minutes, or until the butter mixture has thickened.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.
